Figuring out this thing called life one day at a time. It's not just about getting by. It's about the laughs, cries, hopes and dreams. Finding your way when you least expect it. #1 Says he likes me. Won’t ask me out because I’m leaving. Kisses me for the first time on my birthday morning. Ditches me on my birthday. Drags me out of my house to a party at 1am. Is all over another girl the entire night.
#2 Texts me everyday over the summer. Hook up when we get back to school. Ignores me. I find out he’s tried talking to my friends and my friend’s friends all at the same time.
#3 Hung out for two weeks. I left for school. Talked for a month. Told him I liked him. Told me he liked me. Planned to go home to see him for a weekend. Ignores my calls and texts. Stopped talking. Started talking again. Two weeks before I’m home for the summer, he has a girlfriend.
#4 Talked for a week. Hung out for the first time. He tells me he likes me. First guy to ever spend the night. Spends the second night. Ignores me the third night for a week. Finally starts talking again. We hang out. He tells me he likes me again. Then says he ignored me because I was leaving and didn’t want to get attached. Ignored me again. Finally started talking normally. Accused me of trying to trick him into coming over. Realized I wasn’t at all. Invites me over. I spend the night. He texts me good morning every morning. Stops texting me. I ask if I’m going to get to see him before I leave. No answer. Ignores me. I flip out. He finally explains. All total bullshit.
I always hold back and the second someone gets me to let go they leave. I’m never letting go again.
